Book Now Almonds & Corals - an extraordinary beach resort, safari camp and eco-conscious boutique hotel - is nestled in the heart of the exuberant jungles of the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge on the south Caribbean shores. 24 spacious bungalows (40-50m2, up to 4 guests) are equipped with modern amenities including Wi-Fi, mini fridge, hairdryer, hammocks and a private bathroom. Hot tubs have been fitted in the 2-Queen-bed rooms. Screened window panels (from ceiling to mid height) ensure natural air flow, allowing the rainforest freshness to keep the cabins well ventilated without air-conditioning. All cabins feature curtains to provide some privacy when sleeping at night or resting during the day. The in-house Cativo restaurant is situated under trees and features a beautiful view of the ocean and a Spa is available for guests as well.
The surrounding Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge has a large wildlife resource, mostly noted for a large howler monkey population. Guests can hear or seen from the bed early in the morning, along with Blue Morpho butterflies and a myriad of colorful birds.
