The rustic-style, cozy Cala Lodge is managed by a local couple and nestled in the cloud forest just 2.5km from the village of Santa Elena in Monteverde. It features 20 Standard rooms, Junior Suites and Family Suites, all equipped with private bathroom, safety box, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, terrace or balcony with garden or forest views. The rooms do not feature TV nor air-conditioning, due to the pleasant mountain climate. Cala Lodge offers a bird-watching deck, a sun terrace and is surrounded by a 7.4 acre private nature reserve offering trails, reading and rest areas as well as impressive mountain views.
