Villa Lapas Jungle Village Hotel is located in the hills of the Central Pacific coast, adjacent to Carara National Park and close to Tárcoles River. The property extends along a mountain river and is designed as a charming colonial village, Santa Lucia, with hacienda-style architecture and a 500-acre private rainforest preserve. The 76 rooms in various categories are rustic yet comfortable, allowing guests to full enjoy the surrounding tropical gardens and jungle scenery. Each room features air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, television, safety deposit box and private bathroom. Guests may relax in the refreshing pool while enjoying the sun and the surrounding nature or explore the vastness of the rainforest on a skyway walking tour across five hanging bridges suspended in the canopies of the private preserve. The ideal place for nature lovers, as scarlet macaws, toucans, parrots, aracaris, kingfishers and herons, white-face capuchin monkeys, peccaries, anteaters and poison-arrow frogs can be observed in the area.
